I didn’t feel bored during the flight from Paris to Dubai. It’s a little bit shorter at 6 hours and 15 minutes. Maybe it also helped that we’re flying during daytime.
I secured my bag by wrapping it with the blanket’s plastic bag. I always do that, to protect my things from wine or food spills. Remember, one time Edmund spilled red wine on my bag, buti na lang binalot ko ng plastic.
In one of my trips to the US, I’ve seen a teenage boy drank too much wine, then threw up on his seat-mates lap, his suka reached several seats away, aba mahirap na kaya kailangan depensa. Balutin nyo bags nyo.
This plane has a nicer toilet.
With a large window pa, tila ba mahuhulog ako while peeing.
I didn’t sleep the whole time. All I did was eat and watch movies with occasional wee break.
I first watched Winter’s Tale, starring Colin Farrell as the bida, Russel Crowe as the bad guy, Will Smith as Lucifer. It’s a serious romance, drama and fantasy movie (flying white horse).
I cried when Colin’s love died.
For my second movie, I thought maybe I should be watching something that is lighter, kasi nga naiyak ako dun sa Winter’s Tale. I picked Labor Day, starring Kate Winslet, Josh Brolin, Grattin Griffith and a short appearance by Toby Mcguire towards the movie’s ending.
I did not expect to cry again, this time even harder.
I went to the Bar lounge at the back of the plane to get some pica-pica. There were a few man drinking.
If you are fond of wine, you wouldn’t want to leave this place. Emirates sets up a bar stacked with cocktails and bottomless drinks.
I checked on my kids and they were also glued on the screen. Sarap kasi manood, very wide touch screen and good movie selections.
It’s still two hours before landing. I wasn’t sleepy at all. It must be around 8 o’clock in the evening in Paris, too early for me to feel sleepy.
I picked another movie, Enough Said. Because I unexpectedly cried twice in the first two movies, I picked a comedy- romance, starring Julia Louis Dreyfus with James Gandolfini as her love interest, para this time matawa ako.
Naiyak din ako, hagulgol pa. I was embarrassed when the male flight attendant saw me crying, my tears were uncontrollable. Namugto nga ang mata ko. I didn’t remember na which scene made me cry.
