Stomach Flu - Oh My Buhay

Oyen had stomach flu last week. Edmund also complained na kumukulo daw tyan nya. It was my turn yesterday. I couldn’t identify where I got it but the last meal I had (Saturday night) was a large bowl of Chicken Miso Ramen from a restaurant in SM Megamall. Edmund had pork but didn’t have any problem.

I woke up on Sunday morning feeling sick, with joint pains and muscle aches. I had trouble opening my eyes. It was so bad. I felt feverish the whole day. I only took Biogesic at 8 pm upon Edmund’s insistence. I also took a tablet of Diatabs before I went to bed at 9:45 pm.

Naalala ko nung maliit ako, pag tag init, maraming nagkakasakit sa bayan namin ng suka’t tai. Buti na lang I wasn’t throwing up.

  1. Ms Annie.. One of the possible causes of stomach flu is when ur water gallons are exposed to direct sunlight.. Maybe u can ask Antonia to store the gallons in a dark area so they won’t be exposed to excessive sunlight.. 😉

And if u don’t like taking meds when u have diarrhea, u can also drink Gatorade so ur body won’t lose too much electrolytes.. Baka madehydrate ka pag lagi ka may i go out sa toilet.. Ur body needs to replenish the lost electrolytes caused by the diarrhea.. 😉

Latindan bananas can also help when u have diarrhea 😉 Potassium from bananas are good for u when u have stomach flu 🙂

Take care and God bless u and the family… 😉

  2. Sorry for the typo error.. It should’ve read LATUNDAN BANANAS 🙂
