I felt bad that churches are closed nowadays to avoid being super spreaders of the virus and not of the Good News. I know that we’ve been taught and told that God is every where. That means I can pray anywhere and anytime even when the churches are locked but I like going to a church to pray alone, quietly.
Just sitting down quietly inside the adoration chapel or inside an empty church without an ongoing Holy Mass has been good to my sanity. The few minutes of stillness, inside the house of God helps calm my nerves, eases my worry. I find it reassuring that everything will be okay.
