I felt bad that churches are closed nowadays to avoid being super spreaders of the virus and not of the Good News. I know that we’ve been taught and told that God is every where. That means I can pray anywhere and anytime even when the churches are locked but I like going to a church to pray alone, quietly.
Just sitting down quietly inside the adoration chapel or inside an empty church without an ongoing Holy Mass has been good to my sanity. Â The few minutes of stillness, inside the house of God helps calm my nerves, eases my worry. I find it reassuring that everything will be okay.
