Art is addictive - Oh My Buhay

The more I look at artworks the more I get hooked. Art is addictive. There’s always something that you will find that appeals to your senses. The only limitation is how much money you are willing to spend, or how much you can afford.

Since I have a shallow pocket and thin wallet, the safest way is to just admire and not buy.

Lately, I’ve been looking at artworks of Spanish artist Salvador Dali, Marc Chagall, Henri Matisse, and Alexander Renoir, the great-grandson of old master Auguste Pierre Renoir.

Original artworks of the first three could run into millions of pesos. The signed lithographs are more affordable but not cheap. I’ve seen lithographs that range from $2,000 to $20,000 depending on the size and rarity.

There are so many fake artworks that are sold in galleries maybe without the gallery’s knowledge.
Buy only from reputable sources.
