Our routine when we are in America never change. We’ve been coming here since time immemorial and yet we cover the same grounds. The things that we do and the places that we visit remain constant— Costco, Chipotle, In & Out, Nut Tree, Raleys, Nordstrom, Walmart, Walgreens, Target, Macy’s, Sears, JC Penny, Burlington, Union Square, etc.
When I asked the immigation officer on duty when we arrived at the SFO International Airport if he has ever been to the Philippines, he said no. He said he is thinking of going to Singapore but thinks the country is too small. I told him, the word small is relative. The US is big and yet when we come here, we just go around within the same radius.
We ate at In & Out at least twice in every trip to the US. Double-double burger with cheese and Coke for Edmund and cheeseburger for me.
Chipotle is one of our favorites
I always order Burrito Bowl $6.70+ with guacamole (additional $1.90) and a cup of iced water (free).
Edmund’s order is always Burrito with white beans. The next day, he would always complain about aches and pains from eating beans. But the next time we go to chipotle, he would order the same thing.
Me—– O order ka na naman ng may beans, tapos sasakit na naman likod mo.
Edmund- Masarap kasi.
Me—– Wag kang mag-ko-complain na masakit na naman ang bewang mo.
Costco’s sales spike when we are around.
Costco affects other stores/retailer shops because they have practically everything.
I was tempted to buy one of these but I had strong doubts if these things ever worked
We bought a box of wee pads for our baby shitzhu, Stitch. He sleeps in our bedroom and sometimes he pees anywhere.
We bought this for Lucy, Twinkle, Jack and Tyler
One of these days I am going to try this Beef tapas, mukhang masarap
Costco sells fresh flowers too.

If you want a different California experience, come to Camarillo or anywhere in Ventura County. They have lots of things to offer and places to visit specially during summer
