Chabot's Flea Market - Oh My Buhay

Chabot's Flea Market

Aileen and Bong picked us up from the San Francisco International Airport before 10am of October 15.

We drove by my nephew’s newly acquired house to make usyoso. We just looked at the facade because the key’s weren’t turned over yet to Sherwin, my nephew. They are hoping to move in anytime this week.

From there, we went to the Chabot College’s flea market which was actually very near Aileen’s house. Chabot has a huge and well paved parking lot where the tiangge stalls were. So lakad-lakad kami. The weather was perfect, not hot but sunny.

Edmund said “Ay kamote ito”, the woman answered, “kamote nga yan”. That’s how we found out that they are Filipinos.

This stall sells lots of old musical instruments. If you are musically inclined, they have banjo, organ, trumpets, trombone, etc. However, if you have no musical talent whatsoever, these guitars can come in handy still, especially if your spouse acts like a cellular phone that has 3G roaming capabilities, and you have no golf clubs at home (a la Tiger woods), hampasin mo na lang ng gitara
O tila mas mura yung mga kaldero.

You probably couldn’t see it here, but the van’s front is heavily dented. Owner probably wasn’t paid for the damage in his car. Baka na hit and run sya.
