Export Bank closed its doors leaving hundreds if not thousands of weeping depositors in the dark and in the dust.
Except for a few people who benefited from it’s dozen years of existence, many investors lost their money by putting their bets on the people behind its organization.
When a bank closed, you can be sure that it was mismanaged. Look at the history of all the banks that vanished in the Philippines.
The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas must not allow bank officers who had previous misdeeds to head new banks. Pero dito sa atin, after many years, their misdeeds are forgotten, forgiven and we even vow to these people because they talk smart and look smart.
It’s hard to detect people’s true intentions.
Know the people behind every bank that closed shop and avoid doing business with them in their new financial projects or never put your bets on their new ventures no matter how lucrative it could be. Greed is contagious. Baka mahawa ka. It’s so nice to have a lot of money. But to sleep comfortably, and walk with your head up high, with thousands of depositors crying and distraught under your feet is probably smart and shrewd. I doubt very much if the heavens are smiling at you.
According to Russel Crowe in his movie Gladiator,
“Vengeance comes if not in this life, but in the next”, translation- KARMA TO THE MAX!
