I miss reading the morning newspapers. It’s been a year and yet my eyes still look at the kitchen counter every morning as if expecting the sight of a freshly printed Manila Bulletin, Philippine Star, or the Daily Inquirer.
I bought the day’s issue of Manila Bulletin on February 17 but it was so manipis na, but I still enjoyed flipping through the pages, reading the day’s events.
For the next few days, I repeatedly read the articles until my husband decided to use the newspaper to pick up dog poo.
