Daughter and mom watched the 7:20 pm showing of Liam Neeson’s movie Taken 2 at Shangrila Mall’s cinema 1.
It was 1 hour and 40 minutes long but even before I have finished watching the first 15 minutes of the movie, I already declared to my daughter “I like this movie, it’s very nice”. Julienne said, “Mom, you haven’t seen the entire movie”.
I could tell, it was not dragging, the shots were good, Irish actor Liam Neeson’s portrayal was understated which I preferred, there were few “tokis” as my father would have termed it.
Julienne said we have seen Taken 1 but I couldn’t recall what the storyline was.
But even without seeing Taken 1, I still enjoyed spending my 1 hr. & 40 minutes over a bucket of cheese popcorn. I felt relaxed and totally forgot about life’s pressures. Go watch it. Btw, Liam Neeson’s wife Natasha Richardson passed away in 2009. Single, divorced, widowed and separated ladies, go get him.
