I had a casual lunch meeting today with Ma-an at Lido Restaurant near our office in Makati Ford Pasong Tamo.
The fried rice here is good even without ulam.

I instructed Kay Ann and Joralyn to buy halo-halo (haluhalo) ingredients so that all of them could enjoy a cup or two of refreshing halo-halo today. Hayan, bising-busy sila.
One of the employees commented that our halo-halo is like the senators running for re-election, such as Loren Legarda, Migs Zubiri, Robin Padilla, Ramon Tulfo. Mark Villar, and Jinggoy Estrada. Sabi nya halo-halo daw. I didn’t ask him to elaborate on his insights. Eating halo-halo is more exciting than talking about politics.

Kumpleto sila ha. They even bought an ice grinder from Lazada.
After having two small cups of halo-halo, I escaped na hoping to beat the afternoon rush hour trafric.
