London Bridge in America

Yes, there is a London Bridge somewhere in the US.  It’s in Lake Havasu City. Arizona.  According to the tour guide,  the bridge was originally built in 1831 but in 1965 it was sold because it could no longer handle the flow of vehicles crossing the Thames River. There’s a rich British-American, Robert P. McCulloch who bought the bridge for $1.6M and spent another $2.4M to dismantle and ship the bridge piece by piece from London to America.    It was finished in 1971.  He made it as an attraction in his real estate development at Lake Havasu City.

Verdict,  not worth the long travel but nice place if you live there.  Bring your loved ones, walk by the river,  drink beer, ride the boat.   Bring your hated one and push him/her of the river or better still, off the bridge.   I almost forgot,  if you’re a guy,  buy ice cream,  the tindera wore a T-back.

T-back is here
