We are expecting our second apo on August 28, 2025. It looks like he will be here today.
Oyen had some spotting two weeks ago, and stomach pains just before we left for Korea. Everyday this past week she was at St. Luke’s for ultrasound, baby monitoring, blood tests, etc.
Her OB-GYNE scheduled her CS on August 28 but this morning there’s some blood so she’s back at the hospital. She does not feel any contraction and her cervix is still close but the doctor scheduled an emergency CS at 3:30 pm this afternoon. So instead of the baby coming out on August 28, we will hear his uwa uwa uwa later this afternoon. Oyen told us the name they’ve chosen for their second son just a couple of days ago. Ayaw nya kasi mga unwanted comments. True enough, ayaw ni Mister Yee nung second name. And he wants to call him Bob.
My son asked me a while ago if I am excited. I am more worried than excited. Any mother would. It’s as if I am the one giving birth. Mabuti pa nga kung ako na lang ang manganak.
It is a great blessing to have not one but two grandkids.
I pray that it will be a safe delivery or operation. I fervently pray for my daughter’s safety and good health, and that baby #2 will also be as healthy and bouncy as Theo.

I offer this prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come to you today with joyful hearts and humble spirits, asking for your grace and guidance during this delivery. We ask that you bless Oyen, give her strength and courage . Please watch over her and her baby, keeping them both safe and healthy. We pray that you would give the medical team wisdom, skill, and compassion as they attend to her needs. We trust in your loving care and give you all the glory. We pray for a smooth delivery and a healthy baby. We thank you for the miracle of new life and for the joy that this baby will bring to our family. Amen.
