Rain Rain Go Away - Oh My Buhay

Rain Rain Go Away

The past month had been all sun sun sun. Then all of a sudden today is all rain rain rain. To think that I am flying to Manila tonight. I hope the skies cleared before we take-off so that it would be a smooth flight all the way. I also do hope that PAL would fly straight to Manila, no more via Honolulu.

I really want  to be able to reach home soonest possible time on thursday morning. I have to run, shower, find something to wear, brace the traffic from Quezon City to Malacanang, and get there by 10:30am, in time for the induction of Philippines, Inc.’s new officers. I have been re-elected as trustee. Position I’ve held since the administration of Pres. Fidel V. Ramos.   Philippines. Inc. is a non-government, non-profit entity.

I thought I would still be able to go out today and make last minute shopping but it’s pouring outside and it’s gloomy. I have packed, almost. The caldero is so bulky. Yes, I bought a caldero so I can cook soup for 20 people. I want to bring home a small pressure cooker, pero I have no more space. Mahal ito sa SM, tila mas mura dito.

My maleta, kala ko I wouldn’t be able to fill it up, eh look at how big that bag of chip is, actually dalawa yan. May food tasting sa Costco, masarap, naka bili tuloy ako, $4.99 per bag.

Pasalubong for my staff

Paliit ng paliit ang sukat ng balikbayan boxes ngayon. Dito ko nilagay yung malaking caldero at golf shoes ni Edmund.

Aileen’s dog Jelly, watching while I pack. Makulit kasi kaya itinali muna.

Gloomy neighborhood

Tila sira na yung alulud nila Mrs. Pruden.

Rain rain go away come again another day!
