San Andreas the Movie

Our family plus two, watched the San Andreas Movie last Saturday night in Eastwood after attending mass.
We had a quick dinner at Pepper Lunch before the 8 pm screening. We were in a hurry kaya nagkang-papaso ang nguso ko, ang init nung kanin.

My family was hesitant to come with me to the movie, kasi daw sabi ni Edmund, takot na nga kami sa lindol tapos manonood pa kami. We haven’t seen a movie together for several months now. Para maiba naman, puro restaurant na lang ang pasyal namin.

The title alone tells us that the earthquake was triggered by the famous San Andreas fault in Northern California, hitting San Francisco with a magnitude 9 earthquake sending skyscrapers to the ground.

Nakaka nerbyos because we’re all too familiar with the places shown like the Hoover Dam, the streets of San Francisco, etc. Although from beginning to end eh nakaka-nerbyos, it was entertaining. The high tech computers were able to create incredible cinematic effects such as swaying and tumbling down buildings, shaking offices, waving cities and sky high tsunami.

The movie was well made and well worth our time and money. In fact, I want to watch it again.
