Septicemia - Oh My Buhay

Septicemia

I received a frantic request from my good friend Fr. Jonil Lalap yesterday afternoon to help  pray for his 24 year old nephew, Richard C. Lalap, who’s currently fighting for his life due to complications leading to  septicemia.  Richard suddenly had an onset of fever on friday evening.  Family thought it’s just an ordinary lagnat or trangkaso.  His condition worsened and he’s now in the ICU undergoing tests and monitoring.

Septicemia is a serious  infection caused by the presence of bacteria in the blood.  Bacteria could enter the person’s blood stream and attack major organs of the body including the brain.  It rapidly inflammates the whole body and shuts down the immune and body’s system which could result in death.

Let’s pray for Richard’s recovery.  Thanks.
