We did a 4 + 1 on November 2 and watched the 50 year old classic 007. I couldn’t help but missed my father, who’s the number one 007 fan.
The new James Bond movie touched my heart because they showed where he came from, his ancestral home and parents’ estate named Skyfall.
Sayang lang din kasi the ending saw the villains peppering the Scottish stone manor with machine guns and blasting it off with grenades. They have also killed Judi Dench as M and replaced her with Ralph Fiennes.
When Daniel Craig first starred as Bond, many people found him not as dashing and handsome as Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan. But his charm has grown on us all. I find him even more believable because when Daniel Craig fought with the contrabidas, he really looked scratched and beaten, unlike Pierce Brosnan na ni hindi nagulo yung buhok.
Edmund was hungry so he took out a large sandwich from Subway.
Butter popcorn for Edmund, cheese for me.
In the middle of the movie, Edmund said “ang tabang.. walang salt!”
Me—- Ay sorry, hindi ko nalagyan ng salt.
Skyfall ran for almost 2 1/2 hours, I came out of the movie feeling hungry– eating time again. Oyen suggested Brasas so Brasas it was.
We were the only ones dining at that time so we’re number 1.
Edmund didn’t order anything because he was still busog from the popcorn and sandwich but he tasted our orders.
Ang sarap dun, we haven’t even finished our food and yet I have already declared that I would go back. See related post on IamJulienne
