We delayed our watching of the 7th edition of Star Wars, The Force Awakens, because my son said he didn’t know anything about the previous stories yet. He bought six original dvds of Star Wars 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and did a marathon movie session in his bedroom. Now, ask him anything and he is the authority. Darth Vader, Yoda, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia, he knows them all.
We watched last Sunday afternoon in Eastwood Mall. My son bought the tickets ahead of time to be sure we have good seats. No more long lines this time.
Edmund and I, had seen together maybe two Star Wars movies but we just watched them without understanding the stories.
While watching last Sunday, there were characters (almost all), that were strangers to me.
A—-“Tart, who is that guy?”
E—-“Wag ako ang tanungin mo”.
A—-“Tart, Who is the son of Harrison Ford?”
E—-“Tart, I don’t know”.
A—-“Sino yan? San daw nagpunta si Sky Walker?”
E—-“Tarrrt, hindi ko rin alam”.
A—-“Hindi na naliligo yung babae”.
Sige na nga,
A—–“Anak, anak, what is the name of that guy?”
A—–“Anak, who is Harrison Ford?”
N—–“Han Solo”.
A—–“Does he know that he’s the…..”
A—–“So, they are cousins?”
Sssssh.
