I’ve been going to Greenhills a few times a week lately.
Coming from Cardinal Santos Hospital, the next destination would naturally be Greenhills.
I told Auring, the kitchen cabinet maker, that I would be going to her shop at 5 pm to verify the kitchen cabinet measurements. She replied “yes, mam, adyan ako”. I got there at 4:30 and feeling hungry so I messaged her “Auring, dito na ko Greenhills pero kakain muna ako”. She replied “okay mam, antay ko kayo”.
So as not to veer too far away from the stairs leading to the second floor, I just went inside Tokyo Tokyo restaurant which was right at the entrance on that side of Greenhills tiangge.
I had Gyoza P49 for 3 pieces.

At exactly 5 pm, I was standing in front of her small furniture stall on the second floor above the tiangge, it was closed. Her items were covered with nets. I called her “Auring, sarado ang tindahan mo, nadito na ko, san ka?” She said “Mam, na dito ako sa shop”.
I turned my head and looked around ——— “Saang shop?”
Auring—– “Mam, nadito ako sa Pampanga”.
She’s not funny at all.
I bought na lang taho for my kids. P30 per small cup. They like taho with sago.
Nasa-shock ako sa mga presyo ng jewelries. Ang mahal. Or baka ako lang ang namamahalan. A few weeks ago, I saw a very elegant diamond choker with huge diamond stones. I asked how much, tila three million plus. Pwede daw credit card. Naku eh lampas sa credit card limit ko yan. At wala akong NGO na magbabayad pagdating ng bill.
Wala na yung necklace last week, nabili na daw. Sino kaya ang bumili?.
Ang yaman-yaman naman nun.
Ngayon tuloy, ang bukang bibig ng karamihan ay lagi na lang “Baka si Napoles”.
