Total Lockdown is a must to flatten the curve

THE NUMBER OF INFECTED persons continues to rise here in the US.   More deaths are reported daily.  Hospitals are overwhelmed and doctors and nurses are on the frontlines risking their lives to save people.

Countries are fighting over the much needed medical supplies like face masks, PPE, medicines, respirators, and ventilators.   These supplies are lifelines.  They cannot save all but only a few.

The United States of this America is having a terrible time curving this killer virus because the politicians cannot seem to agree as one.

Americans enjoyed generations of free talk and free will and are having trouble accepting that today is the day that they should change all that.  Out of the 50 states,  11 governors refuse to declare a lockdown.    They are still living in the past,  that American’s are free.  Not anymore.  No one is no longer free.  If you continue to roam around and cross states, you will continue to infect more people and no matter what the doctors do,  lives, more lives will be lost.

If I were Trump,  I will declare a total lockdown.  We’d rather make one big sacrifice and suffer now than lose most of their citizens to a prolonged state of calamity and death.

Those from other states that have no lockdown orders can still cross from state to state and bring the virus with them.   If New York City decisively ordered a lockdown once the number of inflicted and deaths spiked,  maybe, just maybe, the situation is not this dire.  There will be no end to this pandemic if this freedom of movement continues to happen.

Declare a total lockdown state by state for 30 days.  We cannot kill the virus,  we can only let it kill itself by not letting it transfer from one person to another.

Just a suggestion.
