Victory House London Hotel by Sofitel

Oyen found the Victory House London Hotel by Sofitel on line thru Hotels.com. It took me sometime to decide which hotel to stay on this leg. My primary consideration was to be as close as possible to Covent Garden, my favorite place in the city. The hotel is in Leiscester Square, a short walk to Trafalgar Square, Chinatown, and Covent Garden. I feel at home in this area because I had stayed around here more than a dozen times in a span of 27 years.  Alam mo yung feeling of being secured, na alam ko hindi ako mawawala dito.

I was disappointed when I saw the building.  It had no doorman and there were steps.  Good there was a guy standing outside the hotel that noticed my predicament, he carried my big luggage into the reception area.

The room was cramped.  No closet and desk spaces.  But the bed was a queen size and the room was complete with amenities like perculator, free cookies, tea, coffee, and two bottles of spring water were inside the small ref.

The bathroom looks very new as if no one has used this yet before.

When in London, don’t say this is a nice bathroom. Say it’s loveleyyy.
