When I wanted to entertain myself a bit, I would leave the office earlier and do some window usyoso for about 30 minutes.
I am not fond of window shopping for shoes, bags or clothes. I look at them only when I am prepared to buy. For these items, it’s more of shopping talaga.
But for pure entertainment, I look at fine watches.
Kaya mabilis lang. I only look for a few minutes, tanung-tanong, sukat-sukat, then alis na.
I usually go to Greenbelt 5 where there are several watch stores and in Shangrila Mall.
Chopard Happy Sport
Patek Philippe
This looks very old fashioned
Nautilus with blue mother of pearl, luminous hands, diamonds, stainless steel case is P1,540,000. Discount varies daw from 20% to 30%.
I have a friend who loves watches. He has so many na I doubt if he knows how many he already has. Different brands but the styles are all similar. That means his taste is constant. They all look like this one:
I had a much simpler Raymond Weil watch 20 yeas ago but it was stolen.
I took fancy of an oval watch late last year. I went to the store a couple of times just to entertain mysself. Naluma na sa kasusukat ko. Very nice ba or just a little nice?
Two weeks ago, Edmund and I happened to be in the mall and I wanted to show it to him but the watch was gone. Meron ng bumili. Isa lang kasi yun. We had fun looking, just looking. Looking is free.
The price was the biggest deciding factor so it was really a NO BUY but I couldn’t avoid thinking about it once in a while. “Maganda kaya yun?”
Day dreaming is entertaining too.
Oh my Nicole Kidman is so gorgeous, so beautiful. The Omega watch too. But I am not sure if it’s value for money. Someone told Edmund that all these brands wouldn’t matter. At the end of the day daw, only Rolex would retain its market value.
