There’s a stretch a block away from Park Lane Hotel called Fashion walk. This street used to have restaurants too but now the restaurants are concentrated on the next block.
I was able to buy a nice black dress from a boutique here 20 years ago. Ang tagal na. The store is no longer there.
The shops now are mostly branded. Wala na yung local brands. Yun sana ang gusto ko, made in Hongkong.

A very old building along Fashion Walk. It may be old but it commands a high rental price due to its location.

Stefanel used to be one of my favorite brands. I have several Stefanel blazers and tops. I bought them from London 15 years ago. I don’t even know where they are. Sigurado hindi na kasya sa akin.

There’s a Vivienne Tam boutique in the Fashion Walk area.

Finding a dress that suits me has become so frustrating. Nice on the mannequin but ugly on my body because of my waistline that’s out of line.

When my car was carnapped from the open parking area of Greenhills Commercial Center one saturday afternoon some 19 years ago, I lost several things that were also in the car. One of those was a navy blue blazer I bought from G2000 here in Hongkong. If I am not mistaken, I bought it from this same store in Causeway Bay. And I still remember that it took me 30 minutes to decide whether to buy or not because it was kind of expensive for my budget at that time. That’s why when I lost it together with my Mitsubishi Galant car, which only had less than a thousand mileage, nahinayang ako. My Kuya Lito’s company was the one who was paying for that car. I couldn’t afford to buy myself a car.

There are so many shops now selling branded bags like Hermes, Balenciaga, Chanel and Louis Vuitton. This Hannah store is new and again, the big question mark—- how come they have stocks of Hermes’ Birkin bags and yet the Hermes stores have none? Where do they buy their merchandise?

When I told Aileen that I was going to Hongkong, she had instant bilins– Bossini long sleeves shirts.
Buti na lang natandaan ko pa kung saan itong Bossini na ito, near Excelsior Hotel.

The ladies section is on the second floor, parang lumiit itong store. Parang malaki ito dati.

Based on Aileen’s description, this should be the one. She ordered several colors — 2 black, 1 green, 1 brown, 1 red.
The price is reduced to HK120, there’s another one that’s down to HK$99 na lang.

I promised myself that I won’t use my credit card on this trip, eh itong cashier, sabi ko I am paying in US$ and give me HK$ change, ang hirap kausap. They have a sign pa mandin na HK$7.70 to a US$. I just charged it to my card. Sira ang promise. I need to find a money changer that gives a high rate. Don’t go to Western Union, they give HK$7 to a dollar. sobrang lugi. Park lane gives 7.35. Dapat sana at leat 7.80. I miss the Indians, they’re in Tsim Sha Tsui.

I don’t understand why we are beginning to name clothes with food’s name. Mango, Tomato, Restoerun, and this one Chocolate.
Nothing wrong but it can be confusing, at least to me.

This girl has the same bag as mine. But hers is smaller. In restropect, I should have bought this size instead.
Mine is so big.
