(August 26/27)
Julienne brought a DVD player and some funny movies for our entertainment in Tagaytay. She found the title of the movie Zombadings funny and has been curious to watch it, I promised that I would watch with her. Edmund went to bed while my kids and I watched the Tagalog movie ZOMBADINGS.
I don’t know the name of the lead actor, but Janice de Belen played the role of a policewoman and his mother. At least 5 gay people have been killed and Janice is investigating the murders. Five beauty parlors have already closed in fear.
A little boy invented a gun called Gaydar but someone has stolen it and he didn’t know where it is now. It could detect a gay guy around it and activates itself and shoots the gay guy with laser-like strobes and zaps them to death even if no one is holding it.
At night, the dead gays rose from their grave and instead of scaring the townsfolks, they danced in the street and did some bakla poses.
A boy was cursed by Roderick Paulate because the boy was taunting him “Bakla! bakla! bakla!”
When the boy reached 18, the bakla spirit possessed him and he became gay.
Long story short, he searched for Roderick Paulate to take back the curse but Roderick didn’t know how so they went to a parang manghuhula played by Marian Rivera. The sumpa couldn’t be taken back. The only way is to transfer the sumpa to another heterosexual guy. The boy’s father volunteered and he became super gay. The ending showed policewoman Janice de Belen and her gay husband dancing together with the other gay people.
Right after Zombadings ended, Julienne wanted to watch another movie
“Mom, do you want to watch another gay movie Private Benjamin starring Vice Ganda?”
No.
While the two of them were watching some action movie, I fell asleep. The fresh chilly breeze lulled me to sleep. I just felt my son covering me with a blanket. Ang sweet ng anak ko.
