Noisy in this hotel

Our room is right in front of the huge waterfalls in the garden. The sound of water gushing continuously was driving me crazy. At 10 am I called the front desk several times requesting them to adjust the amount of water, they couldn’t, it’s just either off or on.
I was going nuts so I requested them to give us another room.

When Edmund arrived in the afternoon from his first day of competition, he took care of moving our personal belongings to the other room. We moved to a room with a “forest view”, away from the waterfalls.

This new room faces the street leading to the hotel, and the parking area of the commercial area down below. I could hear every broom broom from every vehicle that whizzed by. For some reason, I heard every laughter, kwentuhan of the drivers and people down there.

I couldn’t close the sliding glass door to lessen the noise otherwise it would be hot naman inside the room. The Manor has no aircon. We couldn’t sleep. I must have slept at 3 am.

We woke up to the sound of the hotel’s generator. Th noise was so loud and after 3 hours, my brain was already vibrating. I called up the front desk and the only room that’s a little away from the sound of the generator is the one facing the waterfalls. Oh my, this is a tough decision.

Edmund said, baka daw front desk would tell us to transfer na lang to another hotel.

We ended up staying put in this room. Last night was quiet, maybe because of the pouring rain.
