My mother-in-law Soling is celebrating her 89th birthday with several intimate lunches and dinners, not with a grand party.
A pre-birthday dinner was held at our residence on November 18, Friday.

My sisters-in-law hired a professional photographer to take nice pictures of their mother complete with her seven children.
I offered to remove the sofa covers eh hwag na lang daw.
Our dogs kasi climb on the sofa and pee on the sides and skirts kaya the covers are necessary to preserve our upholstered furniture.

Their mom is very lucky to have daughters who kindly and thoughtfully care for her well being.
And super lucky indeed to have good health and a very long life to have the privilege of hugging her great-grandchildren. That’s the advantage of marrying young and giving birth young.
She has 6 or 7 other apo sa tuhod all based in Canada. Theo is the only one here so far.

Eldest daugter Edna brought all the food complete with 3 waiters.
Nauso na ngayon ang Baby Lechon. Actually parang nakakaawa kasi beybing-baby pa eh natitigok na. They were not given the chance to live a full life. Humans are both cruel and takaw.

When their father was still alive, they had a group photo with this formation. From then on, every time they have a group photo they followed this placement. And every single time, nagkakagulo sila, ay dyan ka, dito sya, duon ako, kasi hindi nila malaman kung saan pupwesto. I told them to save this photo on their phones so that every time they have picture-taking, they don’t panic, they have a guide.
