Almost every day I wake up grimacing in pain from my elbow, right shoulder, arm. Aray-aray is not enough, ouch ouch is only for an ant bite. My pain is somewhere between a low of 5 and a high of 10. And it’s 24/7. Whoooooooo, ahhhhhhhhhhhhh, uuuuuuuuuu, then followed by crying. Panting and deep breathing are necessary when the pain goes up to 7. The crying starts at 8, meron ng halong awa sa sarili.

It’s been a tough three months. I am going to borrow America’s favorite expression amazing. It’s amazing how despite this excruciating pain, I am able to go about my day to day activities. Restricted in movements but I don’t let the pain deter me from doing what I want to do. Going to places I want to visit. I managed during the business delegation visits in Silicon Valley. Not only was I able to be present in all the meetings including the FB campus tour, I truly enjoyed it. Hindi halata na ang sakit-sakit ng braso ko. . Crying is now the norm. I just couldn’t help but cry when the pain gets unbearable. Even with a pain reliever, it doesn’t get any better.

  1. You look great in your pics 🙂 no indications that you are in so much pain. Fake it til you make it right?!
My mom fractured her left arm in 2 places last month. She was getting depressed because aside from the fractured arm, she also has a bad right knee. I showed her your pics… I am like ” Ma, do you remember the lady who sent me the Tortillos and Nestea Iced Tea? look at her, she is in pain too, pero nakaka-lakwatsa pa rin sya, kung kaya nya, kaya mo rin” I used you as her motivation 🙂 She is in a lot less pain now, and will start her physical therapy soon.
Naproxen 3 is a stronger pain med, maybe your doctor bother can prescribe it for you? Hope you feel better Annie.

    1. Hi Charisse, I know how your mom feels. There are moments that I am also feeling depressed but my schedules don’t allow me to sulk at home and get depressed. I move all the time. Like today, my schedule is crazy.
      Say hello to your mom.
