Because of my unpleasant experiences during breast mammograms, I’ve been wishing and waiting for a new high technology machine that would totally eliminate the tagging, pulling, pressing of my breasts during the scanning.
I came across this news article from Philippine Star the other day.
Could this be the answer to my prayers?
I am now due for another mammography. I hope this Tomosynthesis machine is already in our local hospitals. I dread to think that my sagging breasts would again be subjected to another round of invasive and humiliating pressing, pulling and pindutations.
I saw Medical City’s 4D breast ultrasound poster in Waltermart.
I hope more and more new technology procedures that are painless, non-invasive, cheap, and accurate become available the soonest time.
