My driver was absent today. I borrowed a driver from Ford EDSA, not the same one, different. This guy drove for Edmund last November to Baguio. Mabait din ito, he’s from Bicol but now a resident of Binangonan, Rizal.
Eto yung when you say something while he’s driving, he would stop the car, turn his head and look at you. Kanina I got agitated while he was driving for me. I was meeting with my brother at Senju in Edsa Plaza for lunch. My driver today didn’t know the way. He didn’t know how to make a U-turn at Shaw Blvd. He stopped in the middle of EDSA trying to figure out where to go. Three fourth of the road was occupied by a bus and yet my driver tried to squeeze our vehicle and honked and honked the horn. Kitang-kita na hindi kami kasya. Malaki ang bus, malaki rin kami. I told him not to do that because it’s useless. The bus driver will just ignore him. Maingay sa labas, hindi naman sya maririnig dahil yung busina namin kulang sa antibiotic, parang may sorethroat.

There was an Audi SUV dropping off passengers at Shangrila, my driver moved too close to their back. I told him to back off so we could go overtake because I was late already. Before he decided what he wanted to do, the Audi moved forward. My driver moved backwards.

When I asked him what his cellphone number was so I could contact him, ‘ala pala sya cellphone. I gave him P50 for parking. He parked at the sidewalk, with no guards or attendants. After parking, he looked for the closest security guard he could find, asked for his permission to park, then gave him the P50. Hulog ng langit.
