HRH Raja Nazrin Shah

The topic after lunch on the last day was Engaging Men in Diversity Programs. The guest of honor and speaker was no less than the Crown Prince of Malaysia.

Yours truly, with the other delegates

My Malaysian seatmate was at first hesitant to touch the salmon because according to her she has never eaten a salmon before. When I showed her I was eating it and it tasted good, she finished her plate and even took some from the other plate.

I met Raja Muda, the Crown Prince of the State of Perak, Malaysia, His Royal Highness Raja Nazrin Shah. His father was the sultan.

HRH was surprisingly very friendly and accommodating.

He took time to shake hands with the women, engaged in short conversations with them, and he showed genuine interest in what they’re saying. No wonder, the Malaysians love him, most especially the women. They said, the Prince is the most handsome and charming among all the princes in Malaysia.

He asked me where I was from and what I do. When I asked for his permission to have a photo with him, he smiled and posed, then after a few seconds he asked me “Where’s the camera? Who’s the photographer?” A French lady volunteered to take my Iphone, alas the photo was blurred. Super blurred. I wanted to cry. When would I ever get the chance to meet the Crown Prince again to have a clearer photo? Maybe never.
