Kris Aquino and Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista are playing sweet music together. Kris is 43 and Herbert is 46.
I have seen Kris Aquino a few times in person. First was at the birthday party of Philip Salvador in Wack-wack when they were still together. Edmund is friends with Philip and William Lao, former movie producer of Philip and Rudy Fernandez’s action movies.
At the party, Kris never came up to our table to say hi. Although we were Philip’s guests, I thought it would be nice and gracious if she said hi to her partner’s guests too.
Second time Edmund and I saw her was at the Le Souffle in Ortigas Center. The Aquino family was having dinner, with Noynoy and his girlfriend then, Bernadette Sembrano.
I saw her again in another occasion.
I have always wished for Kris Aquino to finally settle down with a guy who truly deserves her love, respect, care and attention. She’s been blessed with a gazillion things and a royal-like life. The presence of a man is just the one thing that’s missing. Time could only tell if Herbert is truly the one.

She read a long statement at last night’s Aquino and Abunda Tonight admitting that she and Herbert are dating.
I wish both of them a stable relationship that is based on mutual respect, true friendship, and an intense love that would last forever.
