Instead of going to church tonight for the anticipated mass, Edmund said we’ll try to attend Simbang Gabi or Misa de Galyo instead tomorrow, or in a few hours. Simbang Gabi is a Roman Catholic tradition of 9 consecutive masses prior to Christmas in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Filipinos inherited this tradition from the Spaniards when priests willingly held masses before dawn for the farmers before they went out to the fields.
This used to be held at 4 or 4:30 when I was little.

Edmund is an early riser so it’s really no effort and no big deal waking up in time for the 5 am mass. But me, here lies the problem. Magboyfriend pa lang kami we always planned to attend the early morning mass pero laging hindi natutuloy. But every year, we always tried.

Edmund is already sleeping right now. I have requested him to wake me up. Pero kung pwede liguan na nya ako, bihisan, mek-apan, suklayan bago nya ako gisingin para when I wake up I am all set, lalakad na lang ako.

Angel- oh my buhay

May all of you dear angels have a good night.
