Last saturday, I saw a book by Alain Ducasse displayed at the window of the Enderun College’s bookstore but the store was closed.

It was open yesterday when I arrived at Enderun for my second day of cooking class. I flipped thru the pages for 3 seconds and handed over my credit card to the cashier. I bought it for P1,925.00. That’s the bad thing about having credit cards, spending takes a speedy turn. I totally forgot what Suze Orman preached- stay away from credit cards. Too late for that now, I have the Ducasse Flavors of France and here are some of the contents:

Legumes et Fruits en Gros Morceaux (Fall Vegetables & Fruits)

I have a feeling that this book would spend the next few years dusting in the book shelves. Who knows, maybe it could stir my cooking passion. For now, our ulam for lunch is the jumping tilapia from Binangonan.
