Karekare and Dinuguan

I don’t really know how to make myself clear. I can’t seem to relate to our cook.
I thought I’ve said it many times before not to cook dishes that are the same.
Examples of her pairing:
Sinigang na baboy – pritong baboy.
Steamed salmon – sinigang na tuna belly
Pansit bihon – pasta carbonara
Steamed tilapia – pritong tilapia
Sinigang sa miso – bulalo

Tonight, she cooked Beef Karekare and dinuguan.

I went to the kitchen and called her attention.
She reasoned out that kare-kare is “gulay”.
But there’s beef too.

She was frowning and she didn’t want to face me.

She got mad at me because a while ago, I asked her to peel one green mango.
She took one from the fruit tray. Then she told me “Ay, bulok na ito, kukuha ba ako ng isa pa?”

I answered her “pati ba naman yan itatanong mo pa”.

Ayun, nagalit sa akin. Bakit ko daw sya sinabihan ng ganun. She cried.
Kasi that’s not the first time she got into my nerves.

This is a small problem which can be solved if I would take the time to make a list of what she’s going to cook morning, noon and night. But I hate doing that. I don’t want to know what I am going to eat 4 days from now. That’s so structured. Walang surprise.

I will not be surprised if tomorrow morning she would pack-up and leave. And she would bring all the other maids.

My only problem is that we are traveling tomorrow. No one would be taong-bahay.
