Lunch at 545 year old Olde Hansa Restaurant

May 3, 2019

Cynthia Nakpil of Asia Travel has been the favorite tour partner of FPG starting in Budapest. Her forte is finding the best restaurants in the places we visit to give us not just food for the stomach but superb food and great ambiance for a total gourmet delight. She personally selects the restaurants and tries on every dish to make sure we, her customers, would be delighted every single time. For the past 5 years of traveling with her, she has not disappointed us when it comes to food. And today was no exception. She brought us to Olde Hansa,  the 545 year old medieval restaurant in the center of Old Town Tallinn to give us another novelty experience.

Olde Hansa Restaurant

The influx of tourists waiting to dine at the historic restaurant crowds the restaurant’s narrow entrance. But the local guide assisting Cynthia has secured in advance a long table for us.
It wis very dark inside the three story building.

Our Estonian guide for the day, Iver, 30 years old, married with a daughter. His medieval name is Vilhelm which means traveler . He is proud of his Medieval costume.

Food server pants every time she speaks kasi the kitchen is on the second floor and we are on the 3rd floor. Hinihingal sya. Listening to her is difficult, para rin akong hinihingal.

Tubig lang yan

Clay water pitchers are used in keeping with the medieval history.
