Oyen noticed that Pixie’s right eye remained closed. I volunteered to bring her to Animal House to find out what’s wrong.
On a bad day waiting here is long because there’s only one secretary doubling as the  receptionist,  cashier, telephone operator, pharmacist, and doctor’s assistant.

Oyen administers Pixie’s eye drops.

Oyen could be a great vet. Â She genuinely cares for animals.
Pixie was prescribed three kinds of eye drops, twice a day for 7 days. Where’s the other one?
The vet found  a long scratch and an open wound in Pixie’s retina. A cone was placed around Pixie’s head to prevent her and the other dogs from accidentally scratching Pixie’s eye.
