Few days after my recent trip to India,  I noticed that my face looked fresh and I thought I looked pretty.    My daughter bought a face cream from Khan Market supposedly pasalubong for her friend.

When I saw it,  I told her “anak,  akin na lang”.    Every night before going to bed,  I used it.  When I told my husband that the cream was very good, that  it made me look good,  he said “sana sampu ang binili mo”.   It was 100 rupees,  roughly a hundred pesos.

My husband continued “ano ba naman yung P1,000 kung sampu,  ngayon mas mahal pa lalabas dahil babalik ka pa sa India para bumili lang nyan”.

Now, more than a month had passed, I am  back to my everyday work, concerns, etc.

I noticed that I look so old and bad.  No amount of cream could make my face look fresh and pretty.   I feel discouraged when I see myself on the mirror.  Wrinkles are multiplying.

I realized it’s not the cream.  It’s the stress!

Few days in New Delhi, going to bed at 10 pm,  waking up with excitement on what to eat that day,  drinking 2 free freshly squeezed pomegranate juice, walking around the Khan Market in 18 degrees  lamig weather,  and just thinking about the dress I want to buy.

Zero stress!!!!

That’s the thing.

Not the cream.
