The fourth high-level professor that I felt genuinely honored to have met was Daniel L. Shapiro, Ph.D.

Beyond Reason,  Prof. Daniel Shapiro

He is an author of many books and publications including the New York Times, The Boston Globe, and O: The Oprah Magazine. He is the recipient of many awards, including the American Psychological Association’s Early Career Award and the Cloke-Millen Peacemaker of the Year Award. The World Economic Forum named him a Young Global Leader. He was recently awarded Harvard’s Joseph R. Levenson Memorial Teaching Prize for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching, the oldest and amongst the most prestigious of the teaching awards given out by the Undergraduate Council.

Prof Shapiro teaches at Harvard College, Harvard Law School, and instructs psychology interns at Harvard Medical School/ McLean Hospital. He also has served on the faculty at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University, and at the Sloan School of Management, Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
