The Frazzled Cook

When Edmund asked where we were eating last saturday night, I told him to be the one to choose.
Edmund – Ikaw na lang.
Me—— Ikaw na kasi pag ako ang pumili sasabihin mo naman ayaw mo dun. so ikaw na lang.
Edmund— Hindi naman ah. Sige ikaw na ang pumili.

I brought him to the Frazzled Cook. He was a little bit wary but couldn’t complain. Remember he gave me the liberty to choose.

There was a tiny and inconspicuous restaurant in Bangkal, Makati named FAT MICHAEL’S owned by Sasha and family. It was started by her mom. When her mom passed away due to cancer, Sasha and dad and brother continued the restaurant.

My daughter was so in love with their food and we liked the smallness of the place. Tiny but homy.
when we went back a few months ago, they closed for good. If I am right, FAT MICHAEL’S has been replaced by a French restaurant. One thing that I am not sure of is if that new restaurant is also owned by Sasha and her family.

The Frazzled Cook has the same theme and food as FAT MICHAEL’S. I think the uncle of Sasha is a partner.
I have brought my kids here once. And this was Edmund’s first time.

I had my favorite order from FAt Michael’s, the Grilled Chicken Salad with vinaigrette. Since it was his first time, Edmund relied on the waiter’s recommendation so he ordered Spicy Shrimp Pasta. Masarap naman daw sabi nya.

I ordered Pancake a la mode and split it with Edmund.
He is not a dessert guy, you have to force him to eat dessert, except yogurt which he likes, but not with toppings.
